The Swamp City Rod and Gun Club Association is a Non-Profit Organization.  It was founded in 2002 by a group of outdoorsmen from the surrounding areas of Gladewater, Texas.

   The association members consist mostly of good men and women of local families, close friends, and several other people who share the same mutual desire to enjoy the fellowship, while at the same time, attempting to raise funds for a respectable cause.

   The name 'Swamp City Rod and Gun Club' was derived from an area on and near the Sabine River.  The area was populated mostly by oil field workers during the era when drilling was active along the Sabine River, running South East between Gladewater and White Oak, Texas, right through the middle of Swamp City.

   Many of the Officers and Directors of the association are direct descendants of those families who lived in Swamp City during those days.  They take great pride in their name and appreciate the opportunity to use it as their identification.  They hope that you will visit this web site often and appreciate it as much as they do.
